Visiting the site

The site is hosted by Render (Render Services, Inc., USA). To deliver pages and keep the service secure, their servers briefly log technical data such as your IP address, the time, the page requested and your browser type. This is needed to run the site and protect it from abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Images and videos load from Sanity's content network (cdn.sanity.io), which also receives your IP address to deliver the files. Fonts are hosted on this site itself, so no font service is contacted.

Game saves and your cookie choice

The games save your progress in your browser's local storage, on your device only. It is never sent to us, and clearing your browser data deletes it.

Your answer to the cookie banner is saved the same way, so you are not asked again on every page. Both are strictly necessary for features you use and need no consent.

Google Analytics, only if you accept

If you click "Accept all", the site loads Google Analytics, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. If you choose "Only essential", it never loads.

Google Analytics shows which pages and games get played, so I know what to improve. It records pages viewed, games started, device and browser type, approximate location (country or city) and where you came from. It sets the cookies _ga and _ga_TW0L10YRG0, kept for up to two years. Google does not store your full IP address. Ad features are switched off and nothing is used for advertising.

Data may be processed by Google in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can change your mind at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of the page. Declining removes the cookies.

Links to other sites

Some games and buttons lead to other sites, such as BriefMaster 3000, The Little Light, Ko-fi and LinkedIn. Once you are there, their own privacy policies apply.

If you email me

When you write to info@exodeploy.com, I use your address and message only to reply, and delete them once they are no longer needed.

Your rights

You can ask which data about you is held, and have it corrected or deleted. You can also restrict or object to its use, ask for a copy, and withdraw consent at any time. Email info@exodeploy.com.

You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.

Changes

If the site starts doing something new with data, this page is updated first. The date at the top shows the latest version.
